Opening FOH Side Work Checklist






Arrive & be ready to begin shift and tasks at designated starting time. Your teammates and customers are depending on you. You are the FACE of C&G Metropolitan. Clock-in, if system is not available send text to shift leader. Team work along with exemplary customer service, ensuring the comfort and outstanding guest experience is first and foremost. The success of the business, team members and livelihoods depend on it.
Front Service Area
- Check Floors - swept and mopped from the night before. If not, sweep and mop as necessary to ensure floors are clean and presentable at all times.
- Windows & Door - no fingerprints, smudges, dirt, on indoor and outdoor windows and push bar. At the start and throughout all shifts.
- Clean POS iPads at start of day and throughout the day
- Cash register area organized and sanitzed iPads, payment processors, cash box, etc., throughout shifts
- Clean and sanitize menus throughout shifts
- Stock to go menus
- Celing indorr lights on and working
- Clean and sanitize counter and cash door at start and throughout the day
- Turn on Coke refrigerator, clean window and handles
- Setup (red) sanitizer buckets
- Clean and sanitize fountain dispenser floor drain daily. Pour a 2.5 pail gallons of hot water with 1/2 cup of bleach
- Aid in stowing inventory as delivered as soon as possible
- Sanitize kitchen pass through window (where food is placed by BOH)
- Turn on TVs, FOMO Specials board, Music
- Check and replenish receipt printer roll paper as needed
- Unlock front door and turn on 'Open' sign
- Setup flags & sandwich board sign
- Wash/clean and sanitize trash receptacles tops and canisters throughout shifts
- Stock all cups, lids, straws, condiments, to go bags, napkin dispensers, flatware
- Clean and sanitize milkshake machine, soda fountain dispenser and the drain, hand sink
- Brew Coffee (brunch service) & setup coffee/tea service items - sugar, sweeteners, creams, stirs
- Check bathrooms, clean as necessary and throughout the day per the checklist
- Ensure the drink rail area is clean, sanitized and orderly
- Check and Replenish roll paper towels and C-fold towel dispenser (kitchen area)
- Setup Ice Tea (brew or bring from the walk in cooler)
